The Authority‘s rules can be accessed via their website - www.sra.org.uk. Any solicitor we refer you to is an independent professional, from whom you will receive impartial and confidential advice. You are free to choose another solicitor. The areas of law that are classed as claims management activity and are regulated e.g. where the Financial Conduct Authority provides consumer protection, are financial services and products, personal injury, housing disrepair, specified benefit, criminal injury, and employment. Areas that can be defined as “non claims management activity e.g. not regulated” and will not benefit from customer protection by the Financial Conduct Authority include all areas of law not listed above, e.g. conveyancing, wills, probate, family law, divorce, commercial, etc. Any solicitor we refer you to is an independent professional from whom you will receive impartial and confidential advice. You are of course free to choose another solicitor. We may receive payment from third parties (including solicitors) for passing on leads (i.e. by passing customers details to third parties and/or passing third parties’ details to customers). In conveyancing we work with solicitors regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) and conveyancing firms regulated by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC). If you ask to speak with other firms on our panel to compare quotes you may request this via email. All of our conveyancing firms sign an SLA (services level agreement) to aim for consistency of service standards excluding price. Firms price matters at their sole discretion and each solicitor is free to quote and charge clients in line with their own terms of business. We select which firms to recommend and introduce at our discretion.
